SWAGGER Vs FACEBOOK

So I am one of those unfortunate souls addicted to facebook, Its bad…but get over it, anyways facebook develops into like The must go on social networking site of 2008 (R.I.P MySpace it was nice)… like if you didn’t go on there, you didn’t exist & towards the year ending, every Tom, Dick & Femi (In my network anyways) started rinsing a word known to many as “SWAGGER”.

Okay So What Is Swagger?

Well According the Folks on Urban Dictionary Swagger/Swagga is:

Swagger
1.How one presents him or her self to the world. Swagger is shown from how the person handles a situation. It can also be shown in the person's walk.

“I got that Hollywood Swagga.”

2. A person's style- they way they walk, talk, dress.

“I'm loving his swagger!”

AND then dictionary.com not exactly Oxford of Webster, but it does the job says:

Swag.ger
– verb (used without object)
1. To walk or strut with a defiant or insolent air
2. To boast or brag noisily
– verb (used with object)
3. To bring, drive, force, etc., by blustering.
– Noun
4. Swaggering manner, conduct, or walk; ostentatious display of arrogance and conceit

So taking all of this into account, with my own understanding of the word, why do all these basic tees, Lyle & Scott wearing dudes think they have swagger.... QUESTION? And it’s not only the guys that are in denial, those wear a waist belt with everything females are on this “Swagger” move as well.
T.I said “ No One on the corner has swagger like us” (Well M.I.A technically) & then it was like a status frenzy, “ I’m The Swagger King/Queen” ,“ I’ve Gots that crazy swag” ,“ No One on the corner has swagger like moi”…. Do yourselves a favour & stop embarrassing yourselves, because people seem to forget when they do silly things like this & update there status five times a day expressing how “Fly” they are; swearing up “I’m The Boss” & Showing off how bad“ I know you want it ”…that we can see your photo-graph’s babes, If you don’t have “Swagger”…WE KNOW, If your not the boss…WE KNOW & If anybody wanted “It”…WE’D KNOW.

In closing… I’m thinking you all Swagger Dons & Dames out there, should really re- access your character traits to see if you really posses the above qualities, that your blowing your trumpets like that, because generally the ones that don’t have S!@* usually tend to delude themselves into believing they have the most S!@* to boast about, like I said in my intro….its 2009 now, its time to Show & Prove… don’t talk about it, be about it… I’m going to leave you guys with that & some flicks of peeps, that I thought was the real swagger somebody’s of 2008.
